askchat.studio is run by Veronica Baboshkina, founder and sole operator.

I started this because of a pattern I kept seeing in my own testing. A local business would have a solid website, real reviews, and years of good work behind it, and ChatGPT still would not name it when someone asked for a recommendation in that exact city. The business was not doing anything wrong. It was invisible to a layer of search that nobody had told them existed yet.

So I began measuring it properly. I run the same questions a real customer would type, through the actual ChatGPT interface rather than the developer API, because the two return different sources and only one of them is what your customer sees. Every claim on this site comes from those runs. When I write that directory listings account for 96% of the sources behind "best X in [city]" questions, that number came out of a database of 1,423 citations I collected myself across ten trades and five cities.
